Welcome to Electricity Saver Ireland! My name is Molly Spazzi, and I am passionate about helping people save energy and reduce their environmental impact. I am halfway through an integrated Master in energy systems engineering at the University of Galway, Ireland, and plan on dedicating my career to researching, promoting, and implementing energy-saving solutions for individuals, businesses and communities.
My journey into the world of energy engineering began as early as primary school when I got involved in the green school committee and I discovered a keen interest in renewable energy and sustainable living. This passion eventually led me to pursue an integrated master’s degree in Energy Engineering, where I focus on energy efficiency, renewable energy systems, and smart grid technologies. Throughout my academic career so far, I have had the opportunity to work wit community partners on various projects, including designing energy-efficient buildings, exploring the potential of solar energy generation, and investigating the energy consumption of commercial spaces.
This knowledge and experience inspired me to create Electricity Saver Ireland, a platform where I can share my insights and knowledge with a broader audience. My mission is to make energy-saving information accessible to everyone, regardless of their technical background or level of expertise.
